In order to strengthen its Physical-Chemical Properties and Analysis team GAB Consulting, part of the SynTech Research Group is seeking a Scientific Expert in Physical-Chemical Properties and Analysis.
Your tasks
As a part of a project team you will:
- Prepare dossiers for the authorization of agrochemicals, biocides and other chemicals within the European Union, according to current regulations, with particular focus on aspects of physical-chemical properties and analysis
- Evaluate physical and chemical as well as analytical data for active substances
- Write equivalence reports
- Monitor physical-chemical and analytical GLP studies, which are performed by contract research institutes & laboratories for GAB’s clients, for the completion of their data packages
- Prepare proposals for classification and labelling according to GHS
- Write expert statements and position papers
Desired skills and qualifications
- Degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.) in Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry
- Years of experience in physical-chemical and analytical methodology and regulatory affairs
- Knowledge of microbiological active substances would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- First leadership experience in a small team with training experience
- Careful, reliable and solution-driven working style
- Self-motivated, flexible, open and well organised personality, able to work under pressure
